
WASHINGTON (7News) — Looking for fun activities as summer winds down? County fairs are returning to the DMV over the next several weeks, bringing carnival rides, live entertainment, fair food and family-friendly activities.
Here’s a look at some of the biggest fairs happening across Virginia and Maryland.
Loudoun County Fair (July 21–25) at 17558 Dry Mill Road, Leesburg, Va.
Frederick County Fair (July 27–Aug. 1) at 155 Fairground Road, Clear Brook, Va.
Fairfax County Carnival & Fair (July 30–Aug. 2) at 2709 W. Ox Road, Herndon, Va.
Arlington County Fair (Aug. 12–16) at 3501 2nd St. S, Arlington, Va.
Prince William County Fair (Aug. 14–22) at 10624 Dumfries Road, Manassas, Va.

Howard County Fair (Aug. 8–15) at 2210 Fairgrounds Road, West Friendship, Md.

HUK Big Fish Classic (July 24–26) at 311 Talbot St., Ocean City, Md.
Tournament boats leave each morning and return for public weigh-ins each afternoon.
Visitors can watch tuna, mahi-mahi, wahoo and billfish being weighed.
Last year’s tournament awarded more than $1.25 million in prize money.
