
HARFORD COUNTY, MD. (WBFF) — An Aberdeen man was arrested on solicitation of a minor charges, marking the third of such arrests in the past week in Harford County.
According to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, Lawrence Purser, 31, engaged in explicit communication with an undercover detective who posed as a 14-year-old woman.
Despite repeatedly being informed of the age assumed by the undercover detective, Purser arranged a specific date, time, and location to meet the child.
When Purser arrived at the meeting location, deputies took him into custody without incident.
He now faces solicitation of a minor charges, and Purser remains in custody at the Harford County Detention Center, where is being held without bond pending further judicial proceedings.
