SUN: Baltimore sends residents overdue notices for $504.6M in years-old bills

Baltimore residents are being asked to pay years-old water bills, property taxes and other outstanding charges, some with accumulated interest and penalties, as the city expands its collection efforts.

The city has sent 50,123 notices seeking approximately $504.6 million in outstanding balances, according to figures the Finance Department provided to The Baltimore Sun.
