23-year-old man wounded in south Baltimore shooting, police say

A man was shot on Friday afternoon in south Baltimore, city police confirmed.

On May 8, around 1:56 p.m., officers responded to a local hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, police found a 23-year-old man suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Investigators said the shooting occurred in the 3600 block of South Hanover Street, where officers initially received calls for a shooting and a crime scene was located.
