BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A 26-year-old man was arrested in connection with a shooting in west Baltimore from earlier this month, the Baltimore Police Department announced Monday.
Michael Parkerton of Laurel was charged after he allegedly shot a 44-year-old man in April.
On April 11, around 2:46 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of W. Lafayette Avenue for a shooting.

Upon arrival, police found a 44-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a local hospital and listed in critical condition.
Western District shooting detectives responded to the scene and worked to identify a suspect and motive.
On April 15, Parkerton was taken into custody while in the 2500 block of West Lafayette Avenue.

Detectives transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and multiple handgun violations.
