Baltimore police are investigating after two suspects tried to rob a delivery driver and shot at his vehicle on Saturday morning.

On April 25 around 7:30 a.m., officers responded to a call for an aggravated assault and shooting-at, police said.

Police learned that a 31-year-old man had just delivered food in the 4700 block of Norfolk Avenue, located in the West Forest Park neighborhood, when he was approached by a male suspect, who demanded his property and car keys.

Another suspect arrived with a knife and stated to tussle with the first suspect, authorities said.

The victim grabbed the knife and one of the suspects was cut in the process.

The victim then ran into his vehicle and drove off. As he was driving away, one of the suspects fired at the vehicle, striking it.

The victim later contacted police, authorities said.

He suffered minor injuries and was treated on the scene.
