WALDORF, Md. (7News) — Three men were arrested after officials said they witnessed an armed confrontation outside an apartment in Waldorf that led to the recovery of multiple guns and drugs.
According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, detectives were conducting an unrelated investigation near the 3000 block of Gallery Place just after 4 a.m. on July 31 when they saw several men and a woman arguing.
Investigators said one of the men, identified as 40-year-old Perrie Wilson of Waldorf, went inside an apartment building, returned with a sawed-off shotgun and pointed it toward the woman.
As officers moved in, Wilson allegedly threw the loaded shotgun into a nearby car before he was arrested.

Detectives also saw two other men carrying handguns run behind a building and place the weapons inside a nearby SUV, according to the sheriff’s office.
One of the men, 24-year-old Curtis Williams Jr. of Washington, D.C., had an active arrest warrant and allegedly tried to run before he was taken into custody.
Investigators said he was also carrying oxycodone, cannabis and other drugs.
The third man, 27-year-old Delvon Tate of Waldorf, was also detained.

Search warrants led to the recovery of two loaded handguns with extended magazines, including a stolen handgun equipped with a machine gun conversion device, or “Glock switch,” as well as the loaded sawed-off shotgun.

Detectives also found a backpack containing cannabis, crack cocaine and Xanax, according to the sheriff’s office.
Wilson faces first-degree assault and weapons charges. Williams was charged with assault and weapons violations and Tate was charged with weapons violations.
