
HANOVER, Md. (WBFF) — Anne Arundel County police are investigating a shooting that left six people injured early Saturday in Hanover.
Police said that on June 20, at about 4:40 a.m., patrol officers responded to the 1300 block of Charwood Road for an unknown disturbance where multiple people may have been shot, and a large crowd was dispersing.
Officers arrived at the scene and found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso, police said.
He was taken by EMS to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said detectives were later notified by three additional local hospitals that walk-in victims with gunshot wounds had arrived throughout the morning.
According to police, those victims included a female with a gunshot wound to an extremity, two juvenile boys with lower-extremity injuries, and an adult man and an adult woman with lower-extremity injuries.
All were admitted to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Detectives are interviewing the victims to determine what happened.
