Investigators fear a Baltimore man has fled the area with a 14-year-old girl after they said he admitted to having a relationship with the juvenile.

Alexis Pinto, 20, of Baltimore, is wanted on several criminal counts including sex abuse of a minor, two sex offense related charges, and second-degree assault.

A warrant was issued for his arrest on April 10, 2026.

Since then, investigators said Pinto’s whereabouts are unknown and they now believe the 14-year-old is on the run with him, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

According to court documents, on April 9, 2026 a detective with the Baltimore Police Department’s Sex Offense Child Abuse Unit received a phone call from a CPS worker.

The documents indicate the worker told the detective several months prior, Pinto had allegedly picked up the 14-year-old girl in Newark, New Jersey, and drove her nearly 180 miles to Baltimore where she had been residing with him since January 2026.

“Investigators believed there was probable cause Alexis Pinto was engaging in unlawful sexual conduct involving a minor,” Al Maresca, Senior Inspector with the U.S. Marshals Service, said.

The next day, detectives with the Baltimore Police Department went to Pinto’s home on Surrey Drive in a northwest Baltimore neighborhood known as Fallstaff.

According to investigators, Pinto and the 14-year-old were both inside the home and willing to speak with detectives.

“According to court documents, Pinto admitted that he was engaged in an intimate relationship with the juvenile victim,” Maresca said.

And according to investigators, so did the 14-year-old victim after she was transported to the Center for Hope in Baltimore, where a forensic interview was conducted.

In court documents, the juvenile told investigators she had been sexually active with the suspect since December 25, 2025.

Investigators also noted in court documents the victim did not disclose any instances of physical or mental abuse.

“After investigators completed the forensic interview the victim was provided additional services, while the investigation continued into Pinto,” Maresca said.

In court documents, an investigator wrote, “It is believed that the suspect poses a risk of flight if he becomes aware of the pending charges. There is reasonable concern that the suspect may attempt to evade law enforcement in order to avoid prosecution.”

The investigator’s suspicions were seemingly correct.

Investigators said Pinto was read his Miranda rights, but fled before being formally charged with a crime.

According to Baltimore Police and the U.S. Marshals Service, Pinto’s whereabouts are unknown and authorities also now believe the 14-year-old girl is with him.

“Over the course of the investigation, detectives developed additional information that indicates the search has now expanded beyond Maryland. It is believed he may be traveling between Pennsylvania and Ohio and could now be accompanied by the minor,” Maresca said. “Now that we have this additional information we’re looking for both Pinto and the missing juvenile.”

Court records show Pinto is from Guatemala and was already on probation at the time he was allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with the juvenile.

Records show in August 2025 Pinto was arrested for DUI on I-695 in Baltimore County, and during that time also charged with assault.

According to court records, Pinto was placed on 15 months probation for the crimes in early 2026.

But just two months into his 15-month sentence, Baltimore Police were knocking on his door concerning a child sex abuse case.

“Any time you have a fugitive with a violent criminal history, as you know, there’s a concern for public safety. That concern is compounded by the fact the individual is alleged to have participated in the ongoing sexual misconduct with a minor. In this case, now we have information that indicates that the juvenile may be in the presence of this individual, and for that reason, we’re turning to the viewers of Maryland’s Most Wanted. We need to develop information, locate this individual and take him into custody.”

In addition to Ohio, Pennsylvania and Maryland, Pinto has ties to New Jersey.

Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts or the missing juvenile is asked to contact the U.S. Marshals Service at 202-819-5058.
