Baltimore police released another photo Monday in connection with an investigation into a triple shooting in Federal Hill that left one man dead.
Police say the man killed is 41-year-old Curtis Knox, a former substitute teacher for Baltimore City Public Schools.
Police released the image of an individual Monday on social media through the department’s X page as investigators continue searching for the person responsible for Knox’s killing. Investigators are asking for the public’s help to identify the individual shown in the photo. Police did not specify the person’s possible involvement, but investigators want that person found.

The shooting happened June 6 just before 3 a.m. on South Hanover Street at West Hamburg Street. A business owner shared surveillance video with Fox45 News that he said shows one victim trying to run away after being shot.
Police said two men suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Knox later died from his injuries.
According to a social media post, Knox attended Morgan State University.
Sgt. Betsy Smith, a spokesperson with the National Police Association, said releasing photos publicly can be crucial to investigations. “Somebody knows something. And so to release these photographs is so critical to the detectives being able to identify somebody who was involved or somebody who knows somebody who was involved,” Smith said.

Police have not released a motive and said the investigation is ongoing. Smith said investigators may be interviewing sources and working through evidence. “They’re also going over the physical evidence. A shooting like this, there’s going to be plenty of physical evidence, and that’s sometimes what takes so long because if you have shell casings, things like that, going over that physical evidence is also critically important,” she said.
Anyone with information about the identity of the person in the photo is asked to contact Baltimore police detectives at 410-396-2100. Tips can also be submitted to Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
