Baltimore Police seize over 1,200 firearms, drugs in 2026

Baltimore Police have seized more than 1,200 firearms this year, officials said Sunday.

On August 16, the Baltimore Police Department posted photos on its social media accounts showing several firearms and drugs that were taken off city streets in the last five days.

Police said officers are continuing their efforts to arrest people responsible for violence in the city.

Now, authorities are reminding the public to report any illegal activity happening in their neighborhood to call 911 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
