BALTIMORE (WBFF) — The Baltimore City Department of Transportation announced traffic modifications this weekend for the Baltimore Washington One Carnival and Parade.
The event is set to take place in Druid Hill Park on Friday, July 10, through Sunday, July 12, 2026.
On Saturday, July 11, from 12 p.m. through 3 p.m., participants will stage along Druid Park Drive between Reisterstown Road and Liberty Heights Avenue.
The parade starts at the intersection of Reisterstown Road and Druid Park Drive, and participants will turn right onto Reisterstown Road, bear left onto Auchentoroly Terrace, continue south onto McCulloh Street, then turn left onto Druid Park Lake Drive and left on Swann Drive to proceed into Druid Hill Park.
All entrances to Druid Hill Park will close from around 12 – 3 p.m. and reopen once the parade is over.

The following road closures will be implemented with detours and parking restrictions in effect:
- Carlins Park Drive closed at Druid Park Drive – 6 p.m. Friday, July 10 through 3 p.m. Saturday, July 11.
- Druid Park Drive closed between Liberty Heights Avenue and Reisterstown Road – Saturday, July 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Reisterstown Road at Druid Park Drive temporary closure Saturday, July 11 at 12 p.m. for the beginning of the parade until all participants move onto Auchentoroly Terrace. This closure will also affect traffic traveling southbound on Park Heights Avenue.
- Southbound Auchentoroly Terrace at Reisterstown Road temporary closure July 11 starting at 12 p.m.
- Red Road closed at East Drive and at Shop Road at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 11, to 11:59 p.m. Sunday, July 12.
The following traffic detour will be in effect to direct drivers around the parade:
- Westbound Druid Park Drive traffic will be detoured right onto Park Heights Avenue, left on W. Cold Spring Lane, left on Wabash Avenue/Dorithan Road, right onto Hilton Road, and left on Liberty Heights Avenue to end the detour.
The following parking restrictions will be implemented for the carnival and parade:
- Carlins Park Drive from Druid Park Drive to Dead End – 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 10th to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 11
- Druid Park Drive from Liberty Heights Avenue to Reisterstown Road – Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Towanda Avenue from Druid Park Drive to Wahaton Avenue – Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Swann Drive from Druid Park Lake Drive to Mansion House Drive – 3 p.m. Friday, July 10 to 11:59 p.m. Sunday, July 12
- Beechwood Drive from Gwynns Falls Parkway to Swann Drive – 3 p.m. Friday, July 10 to 11:59 p.m. Sunday, July 12
All parking restrictions will be strictly enforced, and vehicles parked in violation will be ticketed or towed.
