MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A bridge in Montgomery County is closed to traffic after it partially collapsed in the wake of heavy rainfall and flooding Tuesday evening.
The Montgomery County Police Department said the bridge on Woodfield Road just north of Exodus Drive partially collapsed.
MCPD asked drivers to avoid the road and said in a later update that they also found the road buckling between the bridge and Exodus Drive.

“Drivers are advised to avoid the area and take an alternate route. Please do not drive through flooded roadways,” MCPD said.
