BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A months-long search for a suspected flasher in Baltimore’s Canton neighborhood ended with an arrest this week, bringing relief — and lingering unease — to residents who said they had been sharing stories and surveillance video in hopes of identifying the man.
Baltimore City Police announced Tuesday that 49-year-old Jason Morgan was arrested on three counts of indecent exposure. Police said Morgan was arrested at a residence in Harford County, where he remains jailed after a judge denied him bail.

Residents reacted Wednesday after learning about the arrest.
Taylor Lewis, a concerned Canton resident, said, “Definitely glad they were able to catch them and get them off the street.”
Lewis added, “Makes the community feel safe.”
For months, neighbors said they had been circulating grainy surveillance images and accounts of a man they believed was exposing himself to several women, running through the streets naked and masturbating in public.
Angie Scardina, a concerned Canton neighbor, said, “It’s disgusting. It’s absolutely disgusting.”
She added, “I’m glad that they figured out who it was and took care of it…I mean, it’s just bizarre.”
Samantha Pollitt, who shared videos she captured of the man, said she initially posted them to the community’s website and was hesitant to contact police. After an encounter outside her home, she decided to alert authorities and the media.
I was sitting on my stoop at my house. He came up and said, or was doing what he does. I didn’t see him at first, and then I did, and I said, “why do you keep doing this?” And he said, “you’re gorgeous, I’ve been watching,” and that scared me,” Pollitt said.
Pollitt said she was surprised by the arrest.
“I never thought they would ever find him or do anything about it,” she said.
She also credited police for their response, saying, “I’m glad that the police took it seriously, and they’ve been very responsive to me.”
Prosecutors said Morgan was already on probation for the same crime he is currently facing. Pollitt’s video is part of the evidence in the case.
“The main thing I was worried about is it went from I thought it was like just a drunk person doing a prank to now I don’t know if this person is going to attack someone because how are you walking around butt naked?” Pollitt said.
Morgan’s case is expected to be transferred to Baltimore City, where he is expected to receive another bail review hearing.
