ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (WBFF) — Police are investigating a carjacking incident that occurred at a Taco Bell in Glen Burnie Wednesday and left two people injured, according to officials.
On August 26, around 11:10 a.m., officers responded to reports of a carjacking at the Taco Bell located in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway.
Once on the scene, police spoke with an adult male victim and the suspect’s ex-girlfriend, who stated that the suspect and his ex-girlfriend got a ride to Taco Bell when the suspect began acting erratically.
The suspect then exited the car and approached a vehicle in the drive-thru, forcibly removing the victim from their vehicle, officials said.

As the suspect began to drive the car in reverse, a witness attempted to intervene.
Both the witness and the victim were then struck by the vehicle as it fled the scene, resulting in minor injuries.
Police said the victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The suspect was last seen on I-695 in the Brooklyn Park area, but authorities were unable to locate the suspect.
Detectives later found the vehicle, a 2009 Toyota Corolla, unoccupied on North Kenwood Drive in Baltimore, officials reported.
