Crews search for missing boater in Anne Arundel County’s Rock Creek

PASADENA, Md. (WBFF) — Crews are searching for a missing boater in Anne Arundel County’s Rock Creek on Sunday.

Around 4:15 p.m. on July 19, Maryland Natural Resources Police officers were called to the area of Rock Creek for a report of a missing boater.

A man jumped from a pontoon boat to retrieve an item and never resurfaced, officials said.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department, the Baltimore County Fire Department, Maryland State Police Trooper 6 helicopter and the Coast Guard helped search the area.

The search is ongoing.
