Edgewater man arrested after traffic stop reveals loaded gun

CROFTON, MD. (WBFF) — An Edgewater man has been arrested after police found him in possession of a loaded gun during a traffic stop in Crofton.

Matthew Budowski, 31, was arrested as a result of the stop.

On September 3 around 8:25 p.m., police initiated a traffic stop for a traffic violation in the area of Route 3 northbound and Carver Road.

During that traffic stop, police located a loaded gun in the center console compartment of the vehicle.

Now, Budowski is facing charges.
