BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WBFF) — A fatal pedestrian crash is under investigation on Tuesday after an elderly cyclist was struck by a dump truck in Perry Hall, said Baltimore County Police.
The crash occurred on Sept. 8, at around 8:35 a.m. in the area of Northwind Road and Trailwood Road.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located a 68-year-old cyclist, James Bandoch, who was struck by a dump truck and pronounced dead at the scene.
The preliminary investigation determined the dump truck was traveling westbound on Northwind Road before turning right and striking Bandoch.
The dump truck driver has not been identified.
