
FALLSTON, Md. (WBFF) — A 16-year-old boy from Fallston was killed Tuesday afternoon in a crash involving an electric dirt bike in Harford County, Maryland State Police said.
According to police, troopers from the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack responded at about 2:30 p.m. on May 5 to a crash between a car and an electric dirt bike at Maryland Route 152 (Fallston Road) and Pleasantville Road, the intersection near the 7-Eleven and Walgreens.
Police say the preliminary investigation indicates a Honda CR-V was traveling southbound on Route 152 and attempted to make a left turn onto Pleasantville Road and the electric dirt bike, traveling northbound on Route 152, struck the Honda on the passenger side.
The teen was flown by the Maryland State Police Aviation Command to a local trauma center, where he was pronounced dead.
The Maryland State Police Crash Team is leading the investigation.
