“After another legislative session where we fought to protect our people, lower costs for working families, and grow our economy, we are proud to put our reelection efforts into full swing,” Moore said in a statement. “This year, we are continuing our travels across the state to ask Marylanders for their support so we can keep making Maryland more affordable and to create even more opportunity for all Marylanders, regardless of their zip code.”

Earlier this year, Moore announced his reelection campaign for governor, emphasizing a commitment to bipartisan solutions aimed at creating an inclusive environment for all Marylanders, despite the Governor’s clashes with the President.

In January, the Moore-Miller for Maryland campaign reported raising $7 million, marking a record for off-year fundraising in the state, and began the new year with a total of $8 million in fundraising.

The announcement comes as the current legislative session nears its close. On April 15th, Moore signed around 140 new laws, marking one of the final steps in closing out the Maryland General Assembly session.
