Gunman tricks victims for help, then robs them in northwest Baltimore, police say

Two victims were robbed of their phones at gunpoint in northwest Baltimore, police confirmed.

On April 15, around 4:06 a.m., police responded to a reported armed robbery in the 5800 block of Reisterstown Road.

Once there, both victims told police that they had been robbed of their iPhones.

After further investigation, police said the suspect claimed he needed help and asked the victims to use their phones, prompting them to let him inside.

The suspect then used a handgun to strike one of the victims before fleeing the scene, police reported.
