Man accused of stalking woman from Kohl’s and trying to break into her Maryland home

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Police in Maryland are looking for more potential victims after a Bowie man allegedly exposed himself while stalking a woman inside a Kohl’s, followed her home, and tried to climb through a window.

Adrean Walls, 20, was arrested on Tuesday and faces charges of stalking, attempted fourth-degree burglary, and indecent exposure, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD).

The investigation started July 10 at the Orchard Center shopping center in the 12000 block of Cherry Hill Road in Gaithersburg.

Authorities said the woman was shopping inside Kohl’s when Walls allegedly started following her while exposing himself.

Investigators said Walls then followed her through the parking lot in his car, nearly hitting two vehicles before trailing her to her home.

Walls tried to enter the home through a window but ran away after a family member inside confronted him, according to police.

Detectives identified Walls as the perpetrator during the investigation and secured a warrant for his arrest on July 16.

Police believe other shoppers at Orchard Center may have run into Walls or noticed him following them.
