PRINCE GEORGES COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A Maryland man is in custody in connection with the armed robbery of an armored truck last year outside a Prince George’s County bank that netted more than $500,000 in cash, police announced Friday morning.
According to the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD), 31-year-old Jerronta Bryant, of Capitol Heights, has been charged with armed robbery and related offenses stemming from the Nov. 3, 2025, robbery in the 8800 block of Woodyard Road in Clinton.
On that day, officers responded to the scene around 8:25 a.m. after multiple suspects approached an armored truck driver as he prepared to deliver cash to a bank. During the robbery, the driver suffered minor injuries.
Police said the suspects stole more than $500,000 before fleeing the area.

Following a months-long investigation, PGPD officials identified Bryant as one of the suspects involved. On Wednesday, officers working with the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Bryant in Washington, D.C.

Authorities said a firearm was recovered during the arrest. Bryant remains in custody pending extradition to Prince George’s County.
Officals said the investigation remains active and efforts are underway to identify and arrest additional suspects in the robbery.
