Man charged with attempted murder, gun violations in Harlem Park shooting

A Baltimore man was arrested and charged with attempted murder and gun violations in connection with a shooting in west Baltimore last week.

Police say investigators arrested 31-year-old Michael Garrison, who was wanted for the shooting of a 53-year-old man on June 7.

On that day, police responded to the 500 block of North Monroe Street for a ShotSpotter alert. There, they found the man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

On June 12, Garrison was arrested in Windsor Mill without incident.

He was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he faces charges of attempted first-degree murder and handgun violations.
