Man dies after being struck by equipment in Dundalk, MDTA police say

A man died after being struck by a piece of equipment in Dundalk on Monday morning, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority Police (MDTA).

Shortly after 9 a.m. on August 3, MDTA Police Officers assigned to the Port of Baltimore Detachment responded to the Dundalk Marine Terminal for a report of an injured person.

Officers found that a man had been struck by a piece of equipment, and attempted life-saving measures.

Authorities said that the victim was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

MDTA Police investigators responded to the scene, and are continuing to investigate.
