Man in ‘serious condition’ after early morning shooting in Baltimore

Police are investigating a shooting in West Baltimore that left a man in serious condition.

According to police, officers responded on May 5, around 12:30 a.m., to the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue for a shooting.

When officers arrived, they were unable to find a victim. While there, they were called to a nearby hospital, where a shooting victim had walked in, seeking treatment.

Officers then responded to the hospital, where they found the victim, a 47-year-old man, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police say the victim is in serious condition.
