EAGLE, Idaho (WKRC) – Two men kidnapped a teenager and beat him so that he would break up with his girlfriend, eventually stealing his phone to do it themselves.
According to a release from the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office, 18-year-old Jordan Carrillo was attacked by 21-year-old Devin Larson and 22-year-old Steen Lamb on September 5, 2025.
Carrillo contacted Larson on social media to ask him to take pictures of his motorcycle, and the pair planned to meet at a neighborhood that was under construction. Larson took one photo before asking Carrillo to turn around, at which point Lamb snuck up and used a stun gun on the teen.
“Both defendants bound his wrists and legs with zip ties, placed a bag over his body, and kicked and struck him repeatedly in the head and body,” the release said. “He was also tased multiple times.”
Carrillo told authorities that Lamb pressed “what appeared to be a gun” against his chest and threatened to kill him unless he broke up with his girlfriend. Lamb and Larson eventually force Carrillo to hand over the phone and “used it to send text messages to the girlfriend ending the relationship.”
The pair released Carrillo shortly after, but threatened to kill him, his sister, and other family members if he went to law enforcement.
Both Larson and Lamb pled guilty to second-degree kidnapping. Larson was sentenced to seven years in prison, and Lamb was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
