
HALETHORPE, Md. (WBFF) — A Silver Spring woman was found dead in the water of Lost Lake at Patapsco State Park on Monday.
The Maryland Natural Resources Police said around 3:30 p.m. on August 31, officials responded to Glen Artney area of Patapsco Valley State Park in Halethorpe for a report of a dead woman found in the water.
Baltimore County Police and Fire Department personnel responded to the scene, and identified the woman as Phuong Lihn Dang, 39, of Silver Spring.
An autopsy will be conducted at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, and an investigation into the circumstances of her death are ongoing.

The Glen Artney Area of Patapsco Valley State Park has reopened to visitors, and authorities have determined there is no immediate danger to the public.
Authorities are asking anyone who visited the park on August 31, particularly in the area of Lost Lake, to provide any information to assist investigators.
Anyone who saw Dang, who is described as an Asian woman wearing a blue sweater and denim shorts or witnessed any activity or interactions that may be relevant to the death investigation can call Natural Resources Police at 410-260-8888.
