PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Two men and a woman face charges after Prince George’s County police said they stole more than 60 reptiles from pet stores in Virginia and Maryland.
DeSean Bagley, 31, was arrested on Aug. 6 at his home in the 400 block of Abel Avenue in Capitol Heights. Officers with Prince George’s and Fairfax counties served the warrant, finding Bagley with a handgun, according to a news release. He ultimately gave up the weapon and was arrested.

Police said they found six geckos, two bearded dragons, 11 ball pythons and two milk snakes in his home, along with two handguns.
Investigators also got an arrest warrant for Xavier Igo, 21, who later surrendered to police on Aug. 8, according to a release. A third suspect, a woman, is still on the loose. Police have not identified her but said they have a warrant for her arrest.
Officers said Bagley, Igo and the third suspect targeted multiple pet stores between March and May, taking the reptiles to sell them on social media.
The recovered reptiles were turned over to Prince George’s County Animal Control.
Bagley faces two counts of petit Larceny, felony larceny with intent to sell, and felony mask in public.
Igo faces charges of petit larceny. The woman is wanted on two counts of petit Larceny, two counts of misdemeanors for concealment of goods, and felony larceny with intent to sell.
