Baltimore — Branson Odour, a 27-year-old man whose body was recovered from the Inner Harbor last month, died in an accident, according to the Office of the State Medical Examiner.
A spokesperson for the State Medical Examiner confirmed Monday that Odour died from blunt force injuries to the head. Alcohol intoxication was a factor, all of it complicated by drowning, they said.
Odour’s family and friends began a desperate search in early April after his last known sighting in Fells Point. They placed flyers around Thames Street and went door to door asking businesses and residents for information.
That search ended April 14 when authorities pulled Odour’s body out of the water near the tip of Pier Four, behind the National Aquarium’s Dolphin Sanctuary.
