
WASHINGTON (WBFF) — Reid Wiseman has always wanted to venture as far away from Earth as possible. Not because he doesn’t love the planet, but because all he’s ever wanted to do is fly.
Safe to say he was successful in that endeavor — in historic fashion.
Wiseman was part of a four-person crew in April that led the Artemis II, a 10-day journey around the moon. The Cockeysville native’s team traveled farther into space than any humans in history. Wiseman reflected on the voyage while speaking at a panel at the National Book Festival in D.C. on Saturday.
He described his expedition as one “with the three greatest human beings on this planet.”
