The Owings Mills home where former Ravens head coach John Harbaugh lived has been sold for $6 million — nearly $1 million less than the asking price, according to real estate records.
The six-bedroom, seven-bath stone colonial at 2734 Caves Road had been listed at $6.9 million since May. Harbaugh had bought the home, which dates to 1905, for $3 million through a trust in 2013.
“It’s a family home, not his office; there’s nothing flashy,” listing agent Megan Wolfe, of O’Conor, Mooney & Fitzgerald, told The Baltimore Sun in May.
Harbaugh, 63, was fired in January after an 8-9 finish and 18 years as Ravens coach, including the team’s second Super Bowl championship following the 2012 campaign. He is now head coach of the New York Giants, who signed him to a five-year pact worth a reported $20 million a season.
