Fells Point experienced yet another violent and chaotic weekend.

Baltimore Police confirm an 18-year-old was shot in the 600 block of South Bethel Street just after midnight Sunday. No arrests have been made.

Just 48 hours prior, surveillance captured people running as at least a dozen gunshots were fired in the 600 block of South Broadway.

Baltimore Police confirmed a 16-year-old and a 19-year-old were apprehended in the case. The 16-year-old was found to be in possession of a handgun and arrested while the adult teen was released, police said.

The gun violence marked the second weekend in a row where someone was shot in the historic district.

It wasn’t just gun violence.

Large crowds, including juveniles, prompted Baltimore Police to issue a dispersal order in and around Broadway Square.

Surveillance footage from a resident captured what they described as someone offering liquor for sale outside their home.

Last week FOX45 News requested arrest and citation numbers following violence, and large, and at times disorderly crowds the prior weekend.

According to Baltimore Police, no arrests were made, and two citations were written in Fells Point June 12 through 14.

Last week, FOX45 News also questioned the Mayor about enforcement, including curfew enforcement, and the concern that citations for open container violations and the illegal sale of alcohol weren’t being issued.

Law enforcement expert Jason Johnson weighed in, saying he believed it came down to support and resources.

FOX45 News again requested arrest and citation information for this past weekend, as well as curfew enforcement information from both the Department and MONSE.
