MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A teen was found shot to death near a playground in Hyattsville on Friday afternoon, according to Maryland-National Capital Park Police.
Authorities said officers received a call around 1:31 p.m. June 26 for an unresponsive male found lying near a playground by the Langley Park Community Center near the 1500 block of Merrimac Drive.
The child was found unconscious and not breathing, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no word on the description of any suspects at this time.
Police have not released more details about the shooting.
