MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — The woman who was found dead inside her own apartment in Montgomery County on Sunday has been identified.
Officers found Ashlei Le Shae Jones, 37, of Gaithersburg, dead in an apartment in the 8500 block of Snouffer School Road on Sunday, just after 8 a.m.

Investigators said Jones’ upper body had been slashed. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy determined her death was a homicide. So far, no one has been arrested.
Police have not said who may have attacked Jones or why.
