One dead, two others injured in Annapolis crash

One person was killed and two others were injured in a Saturday morning crash, Annapolis police said.

Around 8:27 a.m. on June 20, officers were called to the intersection of Forest Drive and Quiet Waters Place for a serious two-vehicle crash involving a sedan and pickup truck.

Police and paramedics found three victims.

The female driver of the sedan was taken to a local Shock Trauma Center with serious injuries, according to authorities.

A male passenger was “quickly” extricated from the sedan, but despite advanced life support measures was pronounced dead. The next of kin will be notified, officials said.

The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries and police said he declined transportation to the hospital.

The Annapolis Fire Department, Anne Arundel County Fire Department and Maryland State Police Aviation Command assisted on scene.
