MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A 15-year-old driver crashed a van into a Silver Spring, Maryland home after colliding with an off-duty police officer’s cruiser, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.
The teen drove off after hitting the cruiser, eventually crashing into a house in the 12800 block of Bushey Drive, investigators said.

A picture of the wreck shows the van, a blue Hyundai, made it about halfway through the front wall of the home. Investigators have not said how badly the home was damaged.
The officer was uninjured in the collision, and the teenager was subsequently arrested.
