BALTIMORE (WBFF) — The Mayor has extended curfew hours across the city this Fourth of July holiday weekend.
Specifically, the office confirmed in Fells Point youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult after 9 p.m.
In a social media post the Mayor added identification checks would be conducted.
Citywide the curfew has expanded to include 17-year-old juveniles, meaning curfew for ages 14-17 is 11 p.m. and 9 p.m. for those under the age of 14.
The Office stressed unaccompanied minors are not permitted in public spaces after these hours.

MONSE told FOX45 News teams would be on-site in high foot traffic areas throughout the holiday weekend.
A spokesperson wrote,
“We are asking that parents know where their kids are, don’t leave children under 18 unsupervised after curfew hours, and make sure they are not jeopardizing their own safety or that of the broader community.”
Last month a large disturbance involving juveniles at the City’s AFRAM festival prompted BPD and the Mayor to implement strict age restrictions for the remainder of the event. A 17-year-old was also arrested in the area for being in possession of a handgun.
In Fells Point there was similar mayhem.
Surveillance captured about a dozen gunshots and people fleeing, near Broadway Market. A 16-year-old was arrested and charged with a weapons violation, the Department said.
