BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A 16-year-old boy was arrested and five others are sought in connection with the shooting of another teen last week in northeast Baltimore, city police announced Thursday.
On July 22, around 7:17 p.m., Baltimore police officers responded to a reported shooting in the 5900 block of Bowleys Lane.
Upon arrival, police found a 16-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
He was transported to a local hospital and listed in critical condition.

Northeast District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
Over a week later, on July 29, the 16-year-old suspect was arrested following a brief foot chase in the 3400 block of Noble Street.
He was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.
The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are currently searching for five additional suspects who were involved in this attempted murder.
