When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim who said she was driving her personal vehicle to deliver Amazon packages. That’s when an unidentified male approached, forcibly removed her from the vehicle and then fled the scene.
The victim’s child was secured in the back seat at the time of the carjacking, according to authorities.
About a block away, police said the suspect let the child out of the vehicle. Officers then recovered the child who was safe and unharmed.
Officers are searching the area for the suspect and the victim’s vehicle.
