A late-night traffic stop in Millersville led to the arrest of a Catonsville man after officers said they found suspected drugs and an unserialized gun in his vehicle.

According to police, on April 13, at about 11:20 p.m., officers stopped a Honda Accord for a registration violation near Old Mill Road and Veterans Highway.

After additional investigation, officers requested a Controlled Dangerous Substance K9 to the scene.

Police said a search of the vehicle was conducted after the K9 gave a positive alert. As the driver exited the vehicle, police said he fled on foot but was taken into custody nearby.
