COLLEGE PARK, Md. (7News) — Chick-fil-A’s sole “Little Blue Menu” test kitchen is slated to close in early 2027, roughly three-and-a-half years after it opened, a spokesperson for the restaurant chain confirmed Monday.
The College Park, Maryland, restaurant opened in September 2023, allowing the chain to sell normal menu items in addition to unique food options like wings, hamburgers, and pizza.
Guests will be served Little Blue Menu items until early 2027, before transitioning the location into a traditional Chick-fil-A restaurant, a company spokesperson said.
“Since its inception five years ago, Little Blue Menu was designed as a test-and-learn concept. After several successful years exploring new ways to serve Guests, the location in College Park, MD, will transition to a traditional Chick-fil-A restaurant in 2027.”
The location sits just on the edge of the University of Maryland campus.
