Two officers were assaulted Saturday night during the AFRAM Festival in Baltimore’s Druid Hill Park, police said.

On June 20 just before 8 p.m., officers at the festival responded to incidents involving juveniles throwing objects at police officers as well as a large fight.

Police said officers cleared the area, but two officers were assaulted. At this time, the extent of their injuries is unknown.

The area was declared a civil unrest zone due to the large group of teens in a small part of the festival. Additional resources were called to the area including Foxtrot, the Baltimore Police Department’s helicopter, according to authorities.

The festival continued and an investigation into these incidents is underway.

At this time, no arrests have been made, officials said.

In a separate incident at AFRAM Festival, officers arrested a 17-year-old boy around 4:30 p.m. for allegedly carrying a firearm.
