Dead fish spotted floating in Fells Point

FELLS POINT (WBFF) — A large amount of dead fish were seen floating in Fells Point on Wednesday.

Social media users posted pictures of the fish.

This is not the first time fish sightings like this have been reported.

In September 2025, 25,000 dead fish were in the Baltimore Harbor as the fall season arrived.

Experts said that low oxygen levels in the water could cause the fish kill.

Recently in the Baltimore area, extreme heat and heavy rainfall could’ve contributed to low oxygen levels.
