Double deadly crash in Harford County under investigation by Maryland State Police

Maryland State Police are investigating a deadly crash in Harford County that left two people dead on Saturday.

Kimberly Miller, 60, and Brian Miller, 61, both of Fallston, were pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

On October 31 around 7:20 p.m., troopers from Maryland State Bel Air Barrack responded to the area of Jarrettsville Pike and Hess Road for a report of a crash.

A preliminary investigation indicates that a Volvo XC60, driven by Kimberly Miller, was traveling eastbound on Hess Road and a Volkswagen Passat was traveling southbound on Jarrettsville Pike when the crash occurred.

The driver of the Volkswagen, Matthew Waylett, 19, of Monkton, was flown to a trauma center by Maryland State Police Aviation Command.

Authorities said they believe speed may be a contributing circumstance in the crash.

The road was closed for more than three hours for the crash investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the crash can contact State Police at the Bel Air Barrack at 410-879-2101.
