A Mount Airy man has pleaded guilty in federal court to sexually exploiting children and possessing child sexual abuse material, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland.

Mark Travis Brigham, 36, admitted to sexually exploiting three minor girls and possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), federal prosecutors announced Monday.

According to court documents and Brigham’s plea agreement, he persuaded, induced, enticed, and coerced three minor girls to engage in sexually explicit conduct between September 2023 and August 2024.

Prosecutors said Brigham used his cellphone to create multiple sexually explicit photos and videos of the victims for his own use.

Investigators executed a search warrant at Brigham’s Mount Airy home on Aug. 6, 2025.
