Sail 250, Airshow to close downtown Baltimore roads during final full week of June

Various downtown Baltimore roads will close during the week of June 22 for Sail 250 Maryland and Airshow Baltimore.

Baltimore City is gearing up to welcome thousands of residents and visitors for Sail 250 Maryland and Airshow Baltimore, taking place June 24–July 1.

Festival activities at the Inner Harbor, North Locust Point, Fell’s Point, and Baltimore Peninsula are scheduled for June 26–28.

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (DOT) is advising drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians of scheduled weekday lane and road closures for the festivals. Drivers are encouraged to download the Waze.com app for live detour navigation.

In preparation for the festivals, the following roads will be closed with parking restrictions in effect:

  • East Coast Greenway closed at West Shore Park Tuesday, June 23 at 7 a.m. through Tuesday, June 30 at 4 p.m.
  • Cromwell Street closed between House Street and Terrapin Way Thursday, June 25 at 7 p.m. through Sunday June 28 at 8 p.m.
  • Cromwell Street closed between Rye and Distillery Streets Thursday, June 25 at 7 p.m. through Sunday June 28 at 8 p.m.
  • Tidewater Street (Circle) closed south of E. Cromwell Street Thursday, June 25 at 7 p.m. through Sunday June 28 at 8 p.m.
  • Fort Avenue closed at Andre Street (access maintained for local traffic only) Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28 from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. each day. Only credentialed vehicles may travel east of the railroad bridge.
