Suspect injured, in custody after police-involved shooting in Abingdon

ABINGDON, Md. (WBFF) — One person is injured and in custody after a police-involved shooting in Abingdon.

According to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, a suspect is in custody with minor injuries after a police-involved shooting.

Deputies are in the area of Tewkesbury Road and Abingdon Road investigating.

Roads in the area will be closed while deputies process the scene.

There is no ongoing threat to the public, authorities said.
