Car left hanging off edge of highway bridge after crash in Maryland

Emergency crews were on the scene of a serious crash in Germantown, Maryland, where a vehicle was seen hanging on the side of a highway bridge on Thursday morning.

The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) said crews responded around 10 a.m. June 25, in a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Great Seneca Highway and Mateny Road.

As a result of the crash, Great Seneca was shut down in both directions while first responders worked the scene.

There are no reports of any injuries at the time.
