Crews battle two-alarm house fire in Harford County

Crews battled a two-alarm house fire in Harford County Sunday afternoon, according to the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal.

On July 5 around 4:20 p.m., firefighters with the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company and several other departments were called to the 3700 block of Hilltop Drive for a reported house fire.

When firefighters arrived, they saw heavy fire on the right side of the home, which quickly spread throughout the house, officials said.

There are no reported injuries at this time.

Clayton Road is shut down for water shuttle operations near Interstate 95, according to JMVFC.

Officials said this blaze marked the 11th fire investigation in just over 24 hours for Deputy State Fire Marshals and K9 Blondie, assigned to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Northeast Regional Office.
